Last night we had a worship night in our community hut with the other team we’re with this month, Haven and the interns at Child Voice. It was really hot and crowded inside the hut and I was getting tired and frusterated because I was having a hard time worshiping and getting into my groove.
I decided to go sit outside the hut for a little while. As I stepped outisde, my warm body was greeted with a cool sweet smelling rush of air. I sat on the ledge outside the hut I  listened to the praises from inside flow out into the night sky harmonizing with twinkling stars singing their own tune. Cloudy galaxies and the steady light of a distant planet, along with the christmas light like blinking stars decorated the dark. I felt like I had walked out and immediately entered the presence of the Holy Spirit. It was as if He was waiting for me, beckoning me into the night.
Goosebumps landed on my skin and the crickets praises tickled my ear drums. I joined in with the chorus of creation. Wonder and awe exploded in my mind, splattering every crack and crevice. I became one with creation. One with the the world around me. One with Him. I declared my love for Him. I made known to Him every little thing that He does, that He is, that makes me love Him the way I do. The words almost weren’t  my own but described my feelings more perfectly than anything and I meant them with my entire being, my inner core.
The lyrics, “Lord of all creation, of water earth and sky. The heavens are your tabernacle, glory to the Lord on high. God of wonders beyond our galaxy. You are holy, you are holy. The universe declares your majesty, you are holy, you are holy, Lord of heaven and earth.”, danced through my mind and bounced off my lips into the atmosphere above. A breath of  fresh air for my soul, for my empty aching lungs. A glorious evening perfectly planned and orchastreated by a heavenly king for His beloved princess.
