This morning I gave my first teaching at church. I was super nervous but as I began to speak God completely rid my body of any fear. It went pretty well, I mean I’m sure there are things I could have said to make it better, but for my first time it wasn’t bad. In fact, I’m kinda excited that I did it! If you would have told me a year ago, heck even a couple months ago that I would be in Africa at Busia Deliverance church speaking about the trials we face in life, not even nervous, I would have thought you were crazy. God is stretching me. He is leading me into new and greater things. The funny thing is once you face your fears they aren’t so scary anymore and you begin to wonder why you were so freaked out in the first place.
I caught the lions gaze, I weighed the costs and despite the risks I ran after it, I struck it down, I conquered it.
