During our time here in Pattaya so far, which is about 2 weeks, we have attended approximately 8 Christmas parties! At each of these Christmas parties we have done a Christmas skit and sang a few Christmas songs in Thai. Lots of these parties had the same people attending (the churches around here are very closely knit and like to support each other, which is wonderful!) But the only problem was that it meant some people had to watch our skit and hear our songs FAR too many times haha. One of the Christmas parties we went to we preformed a new skit, which was hilarious if I do say so myself! A lady from a different church was there and absolutely loved it and requested that we go to her church Christmas party and preform the exact same skit and songs! Oh the life of the not so rich and famous hehe.
In conclusion, I don’t think I have ever been to so many Christmas parties in my life combined! Instead of writing a blog about each party I decided to take you on a picture journey and write a little note about each picture. I hope you enjoy it!
I helped some of the ladies with their make-up for their dance.
All done!

Hula Hoop Contests are very popular and played at almost ever Christmas Party we went to!

Christmas Parties are a big deal and usually have food, presents, prizes loud music and awesome decorations.. this one had a steam machine, a bubble machine and disco lights!

Me and my girls 🙂 Please note the fact that we were wearing t-shirts in the middle of winter and were still warm!
These kids were so talented with the hula hoop! Never seen anything like it before!
Yummy Thai food!
The Step Ahead Ladies doing their Thai dance again. This is one of my favorite pictures that I’ve taken this month 🙂
So next time you’re planning a Christmas party why don’t you take a few tips from the people here in Thailand. They don’t need snow to have a good time and give Jesus quite the birthday bash!
