It’s official! I’m now technically old enough to go on the World Race in January!
So…
Oh, did I mention that I’m technically World Race “official”, now? Yeah, this birthday has been an exciting one! haha
No, but really, this is a post full of blessings that have been on my mind all day, and in the past week..not really any rhyme or reason in the order I put them in, but they’re all blessings I’ve been given, nonetheless!
So…
For real, this time…
Here’s to a wonderful day of celebration—spending it with my sweet sister (going out to eat at HER favorite restaurant, I might add..haha), having my family to enjoy it with (thanks for the Cato’s clothes scavenger hunt, mom! These maxi skirts will get so much use next year!), having fun celebrating at VBS tonight with everyone (especially our awesome preschool class!), and just feeling SO much love and celebration from everyone.
Here’s to the blessing of another year of life I get to spend living with Christ in my heart..another year of life I get to live for Him. ♥
Here’s to the blessing of my awesome 20th year coming to a close and the blessing of my exciting 21st year just beginning! I’m so excited to see what God has in store for me throughout this year!!
Here’s to the blessing of having another year with my amazing family…and more family..and more family…oh, and my wonderful church family!!♥
Here’s to the blessing of change—whether it be my favorite color, favorite food, favorite music style, favorite movie, how I like my hair, what my new clothing style is..you name it. I’ve changed a lot recently, and I LOVE it.
On that note…
Here’s to the blessing of knowing I was created a unique daughter of God—with unique passions, likes, and dislikes—and knowing that it’s awesome to be different!
Here’ to the blessing of answered prayers…yes, even the little ones I don’t necessarily think are too important, but pray about anyways! God has really just been answering my prayers in such HUGE ways, and He’s been breaking down my walls of insecurities and doubt.
Here’s to the blessing of this journey we’re beginning together. A journey full of CHANGE, and full of growth..full of finding out, even more, who we are in Christ.
Here’s to the blessing of the PRESENT (and this is a big one for me..it really seems like it’s a “lesson for the year” that God is showing me repeatedly through different things). I’ve learned, and am still learning, to let go of the past so that I won’t miss out on what God has in store for me in the future, but, at the same time, to not constantly look so far ahead that I miss out on what He is doing right here in front of me.
Here’s to the blessing of so many blessings!! Honestly, if I had to pick just one word to describe how I’ve felt today, and just in general recently, it would be BLESSED, without a doubt. Joyful, peaceful, reassured, blessed. I have just felt so much of these recently. I’m basking in my Father’s warm embrace, and I’m being covered by His many blessings. I’m growing in my relationship with Him, and it’s all just awesome to feel. Words don’t do it justice. I’m just loved by Him, and I love Him with my whole heart. That’s all there is to it, folks. I’m a daughter of the One, True King, and I’m blessed. ♥
