Training Camp has been such a huge rollercoaster. There has been a point where I was ready to pack up and come home…and points where I am just super excited to ship out. Change is pretty much the key word that sums everything up…whether it has been our route!! yes our route got changed two weeks before we launch, or my heart. I can’t explain everything now but I will sum it up for you and you can ask questions later!
Definition of Training Camp:
Fish soup for breakfast on Asia day, plane crash over the ocean, lost both legs, rolled up a giant hill covered in gravel and rolled over an unconcious girl…twice, was chased by cannibals, got carried by blind, mute, one armed women, got stranded on an island with no tent for the night, was part of a tribe who spit in peoples faces, was part of an underground church and was jailed and tortured by the police, and had a dance off in a field.
Meaning of Training Camp: 51 absolutely amazing racers that I get to spend the next 11 months with traveling the world and doing God’s work.
