The last few weekends have been spent doing fundraising events. Although I try to not have expectations going into things…especially when it comes to the money side of things…of course I did. For the garage sale: all of our items were basically either 25 cents, $1, or $2. We had a few big items but for the most part…those were the prices. I was thinking we would make around $200 with those prices. But then here comes God…we made over $1,000. In the rain and in the freezing cold- perfect garage sale weather : / …$1,000!!!
For the Rose Bowl fundraiser…I was really hoping to raise around $1,500. Well then here comes God being bigger than I could ever imagine again…we raised about $3,000….in 3 hours. WHAT?!?!?!?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I say we raised that much …because I am not doing this alone. My friends and family more than covered all of my weaknesses in the planning and execution of these fundraisers. And when God calls you…He will provide. I have this sneaky feeling that God is working on all of the hearts of my supporters in more ways than one.

A few months ago the biggest question I was getting was: How much do you need to raise…and how on earth do you plan on that happening? I felt silly answering them with “God will take care of it”.

Guess what guys: its been only 3 months…and God has and is continuing to provide.
I am currently over the 60% mark…which means I am 100% launching in June.

I want to thank everyone who has joined my support team in any shape or form. Whether it has been through prayer, encouragement, ideas for fundraising or gear or travel, financial donations (monthly and one time gifts), help with fundraiser events… or just so much as saying…Hey, I’m proud of you and God has got your back!

I would not be here without all of you and you all have a special place in my heart and always will.

Father God I lift up to you my friends, my family, my supporters, my fellow teamates and those coming to know you and draw closer to you.
