“How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” Romans 10:15
Have you ever just been sitting somewhere and had the overwhelming feeling that you weren’t where you were meant to be and it was time to do something about it? Yeah. Me too. Then I remembered my friends had told me about this mission adventure that was 11 countries in 11 months and I had to know more. I thoroughly did my research and I started the application process for January 2016.
As it turns out, The World Race for January 2016 was not meant to be. So when I received an email that they had released the August 2016 routes, I got to the computer as quick as I could and there it was, August 2016 ROUTE 1. It was like God was nudging me and saying “You are ready and that’s where I am sending you.” It’s a funny thing, being nudged by God. I’d been praying that God would send me a sign or something just pushing me towards what he has planned for my life, because, to be honest, I was beginning to doubt and lose faith. However, the nudge then brought on a fear. “This trip god?” “No way! I am not ready!!” “I can’t do this.”
BUT GOD Y’ALL.
God is so faithful in my doubt, fear and worry.
He just kept nudging and I let go of what the enemy was telling me and applied. So here I am. Accepted on The World Race and I couldn’t be more excited. God is sending me on a journey to learn how to love this broken world like Jesus did. To bring joy, love and hope to those who need it and to bring Jesus to those who need it. I am expectant of the growth He has planned for me in the time to come.
So here I am Lord, send me!
