Hello there!
As my launch date is quickly approaching I wanted to get out one last blog from the states to give some updates! The past month being home has been awesome, I was telling Shell and J yesterday that I feel like I am either doing absolutly NOTHING or a million things in one day, and if you know me that is useally how I roll, so it has been great. Spending as much time as I can with my family and all the babies that are in my extended fam. 🙂 I have been lucky to have almost all my favorites in food from NE ( Papa Gino’s, seafood, Kimballs, Dunkin’s…) Hoping to squeeze some IlForno’s and Friendly’s in here this last week….. 😉 I am so excited to fly out Saturday morning, I will be meeting up with Leyna in L.A and my beautiful friend Natalie will be letting us stay with her until we ship out Sunday night. 🙂
On to more substantial important things in life, I feel so blessed that my parents are a part of Crossroads Community Church and friends with the Tomes Family, and that they both have opened their love to me as well. Not only have they made a contribution financially, but good ol’ PB let me speak about my trip and sell bracelets at the services last week, so thank you to all who have supported me and continue to do with prayers. Having the church pray over me and for my family was a great way to be pumped up to get going!
With that I am left with only $2,531 to raise to be fully funded!!!! I can’t even really believe that, I remember when I only had around $5,000 when i got home from training camp….. GOD IS GOOD. I am not worried for one bit that He will not bring in the rest of the money. With that I will not ask you to donate to me if you feel like you would like to contribute, but I would ask if you would maybe consider donating a little to one of my team mates or squad members. I know several who are scraping by to get to the minimal amount. Please shoot me a message and I can direct you on that. & of course I will still be super thankful for those of you who would like to contribute to mine. You guys rock for your generous giving hearts. Thanks.
Prayer requests:
*Support for my squad! Please just say some prayers for the people on my team, the Pats need all willing players to win SuperBowls (yes it is plural Go Pats!) just like our aquad needs all of the willing hearts to be on the team to SERVE! Money is nothing compared to what we will be doing to expand the Kingdom.
*Safe travels to LA, and then to the Philippines for the entire squad. Leaders fly the 11th, Finance and Logistics people the 12th and the rest of the gang the 13th!
*PEACE, for myself as well as my family, I am used to the 6 month span of not seeing them, but knowing this is a year with limited communication is slightly nerve-racking 🙂
