My oh my, where to begin? Our assignment was to post a blog about training camp thus far. I could post about 34 blogs thus far… but we were also told to keep it short.

Something we have been doing a lot in my R squad (and you yell back R SQUAD!!!) along with the other 100+ people here is declarations. Basically we shout back truth, prayers and love at the top of our lungs for not only God but the nations to hear. We started this trend back with shouting for each of the countries we were going to yelling “WE WANT __(insert country of destination)” and we would all yell it back at the top of our lungs… as we were standing on folding chairs, in the middle of the pouring rain.

As we went through each country we were declaring FREEDOM over the people, over the captives. We have been learning that speaking truth out loud is POWERFUL and God hears our cries.

Our cries to the nations I believe are heard and that God cares about our cries, he holds every tear we have ever shed. How much more was he listening with near to 200 people on their chairs screaming to the point of many losing their voice? This was the first night of declarations that really spoke to me.

God not only heard my cries but he gave me hope, God spoke to me and showed me his heart for Thailand and everyone enslaved there, and what we as a team, what I as a woman of God would be doing. Ready to hear what he said and see what he showed me? Well sorry breakfast is in a few minutes and South America Day is exciting me to the hope of coffee… I will get to that story later.

Also, for those of you who still find humor in the fact I am “camping” for a year (I still know this calling is from God because after the first night I was SO over it) but here was my new “home” for the week. Now I will call this a luxury hotel for the reason that one day they told us to pack our bags with no other instructions and we ended up sleeping under the stars… Um hello people squirrels are in the woods and there was no tent over me, I was grateful to come home to this.

Love you all, see you Massachusetts homefries in a few days. xoxo
