Today we were working at a recycling center where handicapped adults work. They pretty much sort through recycling to make money for the center. It was really cool, that is all besides the point.

We were served lunch, a tasty noodle dish with just about everything else you could think of rolled into one. There was like 7 of us or so. I was noticing that we all pretty much ate everything on the plate, but typical we all had a few things we either did not finish or did note care for on the side. Not much at all. Then we started scraping our little bits onto a bigger plate to stack them. Once we all scraped onto one plate it was pretty much a full plate. At first I thought dang that is a bunch of waste. Then God showed me a little bit of how this whole “World Race” is working.

Every time we go somewhere, or do something, whether it’s the entire month, or doing a ministry for a whole day we are all leaving a little bit behind. I get frustrated when I think it’s only a little piece or something small, hardly that you can notice. Just like leaving things on our plate that we don’t like, we are all leaving something behind that is individual to us. When you put all of those things together it’s a complete meal. Something to satisfy somebody or some people group. It’s going to benefit something. Of course the little things we leave behind are benefitting people but how much more when we all work together to piece something together that we leave behind.

So yeah, this is not some huge revelation or something that needs much more explanation. Just know that you are an important part to the body of Christ. We all have something to leave behind, and it can all be worked together to benefit somebody else. I am having a hard time “living in community” being on my own for the past 5 years, and living solo for the past 2 most days here are tedious but I know I can’t leave behind a complete meal without my team and my squads combined leftovers.

I love you all so much! Sorry for the bunches of blogs posted all at once, no wifi at the base, so it will look kind of scattered this month!
