If you remember back to my blog I wrote in the Philippines when we went to the hospital and my hands got really hot, then this is an update for you. J This past month in Malaysia has been unreal with things that God was doing in my life. I decided to fast from Coffee (GASP! I know, I made it… as I sit here typing drinking an iced macchiato….) Always, fasting from coffee for a few reasons, one of them that I did not wake up in the morning to serve coffee, I wake to serve Jesus and the other for Him to show me more of Him in my life. I was just desperate for more God. Well I got it. My hands started getting hot a lot more often when people needed prayer. (to make a long story short) Ok, cool. Right?
One night we were out for street outreach, CK was our guide. As we were walking around I kept noticing that he was limping, and looked like he was in pain. I was hesitant to ask if something happened just in case it was something he has always had or whatever. So we get back and he brings up that he hurt his ankle and was in serious pain. Sweet, now I know, now I can ask to pray. Lacey and I ask to pray for him and we get on the floor and lay hands on his foot. My hands are burning. We pray and pray and when we finished he says “Oh it feels all better.” What?! I tell him to get up and dance. He starts jumping around and dancing, no pain, he is healed. I would not have believed it unless I saw it with my own two eyes.
Debrief: we are doing prayer and worship and Shannon taps me and is like
“Robi, we gotta pray for Bridget, her back is killing her”
Alright. Her back has been hurting for close to two months so without hesitation we lay hands on her back. Again, my hands are on fire and after we were done her back is HEALED. Really!? Yes, she said all of her pain was gone. Praise Jesus.
So, with those two and actually several others I am too lazy to type out God has spoken to me that He is the ultimate healer and can do crazy great things. Why He has chosen me to help Him with that is beyond me, but I will be obedient and follow the calling He has placed on my life.
Don’t put God in a box. Seek after Him and he will blow your mind I promise you
