Okay so a reality of being a World Racer is that everywhere you go, you will be a spectacle. I mean, how can we not be? We have the same shirts, similar camping clothes, huge backpacks that we travel with, we basically only speak english, we are not of the same ethnicity as most of the people we will come in contaxct with and we smile at everyone all the time. We are a group of weirdos that everyone loves to stare at!
We get excited about cheap pizza, meeting people along the way who speak english and we make everything fun! Like riding a bus the the capitol for 5hrs at 2am, going grocery shopping in a major city, riding in the back of a truck to church, and finding random internet signals like they are presents from God to us!
Life is so different for me now, but I would not have it any other way. Needless to say, travel days are super fun and I have made it safely to San Salvador, El Salvador and could not be more excited for what this month has in store!! :]
