So, I am here uploading from training camp! The internet is a little slow, and that is an understatement, so bear with me.
I have always had problems with identity. I am a workerbee. I am a woman. I am a young adult. I am a college student. I am currently unemployed and support raising to take a year to care for “the least of these” that God has called us too. I am NOT a camper. I am NOT an outdoorsy person. I am NOT a missionary. I am NOT someone who doesnt shower daily, especially in the sweaty, humid heat! However this week I have become all of those things and I absolutely LOVE IT! I am going completely outside of my comfort zone but God has been there 100000000% and I know that I am supposed to be here doing his work and going away to 11 countries in 11 months. I could not be more excited right now.
Here I am Lord! Send me! Your beautiful, dirty, filthy, smelly, sweaty, exhausted daughter of Christ…so ready to do Your work! 🙂
