A home built on sisterhood and rich in love and opportunity.

The Eternal Family Project is filled with 22 beautiful Honduran girls. Allison, mom, moved from the states to Honduras years ago and started taking in the girls to build a family rooted in love and opportunity.

Like any family, these sisters fight. Fight with each other and fight for each other. They love to push each others buttons, but they also love to take care of one another. They can stir up anger and tears, but they also make each other burst with a laugh, giggle, or smile.

My time with the girls is mostly spent at their learning center where I usually teach art classes and organize book shelves. Yesterday, I got to attend Gisselle and Addi’s dance performance at a local festival. When we entered the crowded and chaotic room filled with prepa (preschool) students, teachers, and parents, the girls were quite nervous. There were many special moments with the girls that pulled on my heart strings throughout the day, however my favorite was when I caught them hand in hand.

Fighting their nerves together, they didn’t leave each others side. These girls are family. They are bonded with love. They are for each other. They support each other. They love each other. They fight for each other.

They are daughters.

They are sisters.

Please continue to pray for my team as we continue to serve and love these girls daily. Pray that in everything we do and say that we would represent the Fathers heart well.
