As I get ready to step onto the plane to my first country out 11, a rush of emotions overflow through me; excitement, fear of the unknown, gratitude, & a sense peace.
I heard the call months ago deep in my soul that their has to be more to this life. There has to be more than just the 9-5 job, more than just going through the motions and expectations of our culture. The time has finally come for me to follow His plan.
Matthew 6:33 continues to be highlighted to me.
“But seek first His kingdom & His righteousness, & all these things will be given to you as well.”
I have an image of God with His arms wide open calling out for me, come my darling and let go of your past and embrace My love that will unfold all you need to know.
I know I am going to be stretched in this next year more than I can imagine right now but I also know the Lord will be with me every step of the way.
I was sitting down with some of my squad leaders (God bless these beautiful people) and they prayed over me that I would extend grace over myself and the journey. This concept of grace has been something so simple for me to extend to others but not myself.
I pray that I can enjoy the journey even through the rough waters. We aren’t perfect and through our weakness is when we are strengthened by the Divine. So why do we try so hard to cover up our weakness when God tells us that’s when He can do the most work in us.
“My power flows most freely into weak ones aware of their need for me.

He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak… They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. — Isaiah 40:29, Isaiah 40:31″
Lord, I pray that I can extend grace on this journey, on the stretching process, to myself, & my family (immediate,squad, supporters). Cheers to running towards freedom, wholeness, truth, and love.
