Hi there, I’m Ashley Miller future World Racer!
I hope this blog helps encourage others to follow their hearts and find their true identity. This is something close to my heart because I have struggled with trying to find my value and worth through external things but always leaves me feeling empty or not good enough. “When you release expectations, you are free to enjoy things for what they are instead of what you think they should be.”
I currently live in Atlanta, Georgia and work as an individual and family counselor. I went to the University of Central Florida for my Master’s in Social Work. I have a strong passion to help others by spreading love and light by building authentic relationships. I believe in the power of love.
I am originally from Orlando, Florida and that is where most of my family lives now (minus my brother and soon to be sister in law :). I was blessed with the most incredible parents. They have shaped me into the person I am today and have provided me with unwavering love and support. I come from a family of six but have been lucky to add others to the family. I have four brothers (Kris and Jason-blood related, and two brother in laws Mike and Nick). I have four sisters (Rachel- blood related, and Chrissie, Bre and Janelle). Family is very important to me and I wouldn’t be where I am today without each and everyone of them.
I am an aunt to two of the sweetest babes! They have stolen my heart; Avery and Olivia.
I went to the University of Georgia for my undergrad getting my degree in Child and Family Development. I played soccer at UGA for four years. Soccer was one of the first places I was able to find community growing up and in college. I am passionate about incorporating sports and life skills to empower individuals. GO DAWGS!
