so stoked to tell you about myself.

Drummond wrote in his book The Greatest Thing in the World: “Where love is, God
is. He that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God. God is love. Therefore love.
Without distinction, without calculation, without procrastination, love.�
God is love! This concept in the bible and this amazing quality about God
is what has helped me through so many hard times. His mercy and his grace has
poured out onto to me and I find myself thanking Him everyday for loving;
loving me, loving the lost, the broken, loving the sinner, loving the
disbelievers, He loves us all and He is love! It astounds me constantly.
Here are some tidbits about me….
I’ve never lived anywhere but Michigan. I grew up in a stable home with
one older sister, who I didn’t like when we were younger but we grew to love
each other.
I didn’t know who God was or what salvation was until my senior year. God
placed a beautiful Jesus loving girl in my life that talked to me and led me to
know who God was. Thanks to her I learned, but it took me longer then it should
have to finally reach salvation and to accept Jesus as my savior. Thanks to my
sweet college group Unite I got slapped in the face with Jesus and, yet again,
God put another beautiful Jesus loving woman in my life to lead me down His path.
I’m going to school for a Masters of Arts in Psychology. I have such a compassionate heart for the hurting and all I really want to do is help them. I want to help them through the hard times and show them the love of Christ. HE HAS WASHED US CLEAN!!! Things are hard with God because he is constantly calling us to Him, to change and grow in Him. Yet, things without Him is worse and harder. I have such a restlessness in my heart to serve and help the lost. I want to be a LIGHT in the darkness…a LIGHT to our GOD!
I’m shy. I’m quiet until I get comfortable with people. I have a sensitive heart. I like my alone time and I like being surrounded by people.
I don’t express my thoughts or feelings easily so I found myself an outlet for my thoughts….tattoos. To make it easy I’ll just say I have many 🙂 It all just depends on how you count them. They all have a special meaning to me and they all explain something about myself or my thoughts. Also, I find it a great way to have the unsaved hear about God because some of my tattoos are biblical. People are always asking.
I LOVE to read. I lean towards mostly fiction but I find myself reading random things at times. I just adore cuddling up with a good book and reading the day away. To be able to immerse myself in the authors vision, characters, world, and plot. It is a great way to help me unwind.
My favorite thing, however, is seeing and being amazed by Gods artistry in this world. To watch a sunrise or sunset. To see the stars above me and the trees blow in the wind. I love finding images in the clouds and laying in nature and praising the God who created all of it!
