THINGS I LEARNED before, durring and after training camp
GOD REALLY DOES HEAR PRAYER I have been so stressed out for the past 3 or so weeks with school, getting ready for my missions trip and work, but this last week, for some reason [God that is] I’ve made it though. I know people have been praying for me and I totally feel God keeping my head on straight and help calm me down.
BASS PRO SHOP/OUTDOOR WORLD IS THE AUTHORITY ON ANYTHING OUTDOORS IN FLORIDA Don’t even go to another store if you need to get something outdoorsy, just go to the source, bass pro shop.
GOD USES US EVEN WHEN WE’RE NOT READY
OR THINK WE AREN’T DESERVING
If God wants you to do something, don’t wait around until you’re perfect or the situation you’re in is perfect. Just go. God requires obedience and wants us when we are most open to Him, which most of the time for me means when I’m at my weakest and least ready.
GOD IS BIG AND MORE My view of God was challenged at training camp. I saw Him in new ways and more alive than I had seen before. God moves differently in different people and different in various parts of the world. He’s just that big and that creative. Training camp prepared me to be ready to have what’s comfortable for me and my thinking to be completely rocked. To see God move in His power through the world.
