my dear friend lindsay [leensey, as i so affectionately refer to her as] recently buried her shoes.
she has been carrying this particular pair of shoes around the world with her for the last eight months. she began her relationship with them back in san francisco. it was love at first sight. they broke the first week we were in ireland and it’s been a fight to keep them alive ever since. finally, after much prayer and debate she decided it was time to let them go. so, she buried them in africa last week and i put together a little video to document what has been quite the process.
