after a few days of heart-wrenching anticipation the time finally came. michael murphy had been chosen as a team leader and was lined up among the rest of the “k” squad leaders ready to announce his teammates. of course, his wife denise was among the chosen few. quickly he called out the rest. daina, paul, lindsay, ashley, and ashley. relief flooded me as the anticipation of who my team would be finally came to end. i was elated. that afternoon we had the chance to go off-campus and make a memory. we went to dairy queen and the christian book store before eating dinner at outback. it was a splendid evening. i could not be more excited about spending the next year with these brothers and sisters. they are awesome, kingdom-focused individuals who inspire and encourage me. and now, they are my family. we chose the name goodness. gracious. after i shared my vision with the team. we wanted our name to reflect each of us stepping into our destiny and becoming the fire-breathers the lord has called us to become. however, we didn’t want to be team ‘fire-breathers’ because, let’s face it, that’s kind of a corny name. so, we settled on goodness. gracious. [as in great balls of fire]. so, without further ado…
