i just returned back to school from my trip to athens, greece.  this was the second year in a row i went on the trip and it was amazing once again.  i did not want to come back home and i’ll admit, i’m still a little [okay, a lot] bitter about trekking back to class and trying to focus on finishing the semester strong.  i haven’t been to too many places, but i love greece more than anywhere i’ve ever been.  i have definitely left a part of my heart there.  i believe the lord will have me there full-time someday.  that being said, i’m still ridiculously excited to travel all around the world and share god’s love with people everywhere.  although, i have been praying that if we ever have to be re-routed we could go to athens.  at the very least, i’m hoping for a layover or two there.  we’ll see.

since being home, i’ve been very jet-lagged.  i can only imagine what some of the WR traveling will do to me.  my feet also swell when i fly and it’s taking a very long time for it to go away.  so, i’m thinking about bringing a bigger pair of shoes for travel days.  i did take my backpack, douglas hugo, to greece with me.  it was good practice even though it mostly sat under my bed.  by the time the week was over i copped out and stuffed him into an extra suitcase.  i wasn’t in the mood to pack things so carefully.  i should probably start practicing now if i am going to survive a year.  🙂
i’m still in that state where i don’t really know what to say about the trip other than that it was amazing.  i’ll leave you with pictures.
this is my precious friend dimitra.  we met last year and have kept in contact.  it was such a blessing to see her again.

abi, krystal, alma, and me at a cute little coffee shop in the center.  angie was with us and was kind enough to get this good shot.
krystal, me, stella, and nikki.  i met stella and nikki this year and hung out with them quite a bit.  stella had the whole crew over one night for dinner.  these girls are just great.

i love this.  it’s my fave.
blessings, friends.  or should i say ευλογίες.
