After eleven amazing months, the end of the World Race has finally arrived. Our whole squad has been reunited for a final debrief in Huahin, Thailand for one final hurrah before boarding a plane bound for the good ol’ USA. It has definitely been one exciting ride. There have been ups and downs, laughter and tears, and everything else in between. My squad has become like a second family to me, and I can hardly imagine what it will be like to say goodbye to everyone and head off in our separate ways.
As I approach the end of my Race journey, my eyes turn to what lies ahead for me back home, which leads me to some exciting news…
I will be going to Haiti for the month of June!
- Rebuilding homes and orphanages damaged in the earthquake
- Helping with food distribution
- Assisting in medical clinics
- Serving in local churches
- Outreach and evangelism
- And any other opportunities God opens to us
· I am so excited about following God into this next step of my journey with Him. He has done incredible things in me through the World Race, and I am looking forward to a continuation of this growth. I am also passionate about bringing His hope and love to help meet the incredible need in Haiti. There is not only physical rebuilding that needs to take place, but spiritual rebuilding as well in the lives of the Haitians. God willing, we can accomplish both on this trip.
As far as finances go for this trip, I am fully funded. Praise the Lord! I had some extra money from the World Race that I am able to put towards this trip. I owe a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who has given to me for the Race. Know that your contributions are still making a difference in lives around the world. I am able to go to Haiti because of your generosity and obedience to the Lord. Thank you and may God richly bless you in return!
