Ok, so my blogging isn’t my forte. However, I thought since I’m leaving in approximately 8 hours that now is a good of time as ever.
I want to say thank you to everyone for your prayers, words of encouragement, as well as financial contributions. Without you all (and God) I would not be embarking on possibly one of the greatest experiences of my life. It’s been very hard to say goodbye, but know that I love you all. And hey it’s not goodbye…just cya lata!
The H squad is broken up into smaller teams of 7 or 8 people. We will all be traveling to the same countries together, however teams may work on different ministries throughout each country.
We were placed on our teams during Training Camp back in October. I was placed on one of the 2 only all girl teams. We are known as Team B.L.I.N.G.
This introduction has been a long time coming, but without further a due, I present to you the members of Team B.L.I.N.G:
Liz: “Our Fearless Leader” – Liz is the leader of Team B.L.I.N.G, and we could not have asked for a better one! She brings kindhearted leadership, great athletic ability, and a fun sense of humor. She will be an awesome person to follow. 
Blair: “Flava” – Blair adds flava to our team. She is the salt to my peppa . This Alabama native can go buck when she wants to, and her passion for others is inspiring. 
Kara: “Ms. Firecracker” – Kara is a Texas girl and is the baby not only of our team, but the squad as well! But don’t let that fool you, this girl has a PASSION for Christ and will definitely shine (B.L.I.N.G) style for Jesus throughout the world. 
Kristen: “Sweet Spirit” – When I think of Kristen, I cannot forget the sweet voice God has blessed her with. Kristen exudes Christ’s love to others with her beautiful smile and encouraging words.
Shannon: “Counselor” – Ms. Shannon hails from Florida and she is a great asset to Team B.L.I.N.G. She has a great listening ear and encouraging words are never too far from her. 
Katie: “Prayer Warrior” – Katie is our prayer warrior. Although Katie was chosen to leave with Team B.L.I.N.G, God has led her to leave at a later date with the I squad in June. I will miss her infectious laughter, but she is an important asset to Team B.L.I.N.G, she is our prayer warrior.
We are Team B.L.I.N.G. — Believing, Loving, Inspiring, Nurturing, Girls Gaining Ground — and that’s exactly what we plan to do! Please join our team through supporting us and praying for us as we impact nations for the kingdom.
