For the past couple of months, I’ve been keeping up with the blog of a sweet, sweet woman named Diane. Her blog, He Speaks in the Silence, has been a godsend. From her vulnerable entries about learning to cope with her father’s failing health to her encouraging stories of her walk with the Lord, I always look forward to getting her blog updates in my inbox.
Something she posts every Sunday morning are beautiful images with scripture. Sunday Scriptures. They are always so lovely and fill my heart with truth. I look forward to them every weekend.
I want to begin doing the same thing. I want to post bits of scripture each Sunday morning. While on the field, I’m not sure how reliable our internet connection will be at times, but I will strive to post a piece of scripture that the Lord has been using to speak to me through as often as possible. Until we launch in September though, you can count on a Sunday Scripture each Sunday morning.
I’m really looking forward to starting this weekly series. I hope these posts will bring you comfort, joy, peace, encouragement, and stir your affections for the Lord.
