Of course I agreed because
1. I love kids
2. I’ll take any excuse to talk about my trip! 🙂
I remember being 6 or 7 years old, sitting in my own Sunday school class and having someone come and talk to me about their mission’s trip, leaving the country and sharing about Jesus. The only difference was, I wasn’t eager or really even listening to what the teachers or visitors were telling us. There was no way would I ever go to another country. You obviously had to be someone special to be able to go on a big important mission trip, and I just wasn’t that kind of person.
Fortunately my thoughts about missions changed. But I have to think that if I didn’t have people planting those seeds about going over to other countries and sharing the Gospel with people who don’t even speak the same language as I do…would I even be considering leaving for a year and going to 11 different countries???
The NEXT Generation!
It’s our turn to build up the next generation. If we don’t take a moment and invest in the lives of theyoung peopl todaye, who is gonna continue God’s plan in spreading His word.
How exciting is that!
We have and will have a story to share and we can influence the next generation of missionaries! They need to know that you dont have to be anyone special, be a certain age, have a certain degree or know the right words to say. All you have to be is a child of God and be willing to say YES I'll Go!!!!!
