How does one tell her mom Happy Mother's Day when she is half way around the world?
How does one let her mom know how much she appreciates her for everything she has done for her and for her family?
How does one say THANK YOU for supporting her when says she wants to travel to 11 different countries in 11 months?
How does one let her mom know how much she misses her and can't wait to see her in 12 weeks?
How does one let her mom know how much she loves her?
Well one writes a blog to let her know of course!
Mom I really cannot put into words how much it means to me that you have supported me in this journey since day one! I know it wasn't easy to trust God in letting me go to places you have never heard before but knowing that you believed in me helped me push forward!
Thank you for all your help in my fundraising and getting prepared for this trip! Thank you for sharing my blogs on your Facebook page and Journey's newsletters. Thank you for simply saying how proud you are of me! Thank you for always being available when I call you or want to chat with you! Thank you for the little things that have made this race that much easier!
You are an amazing mom! Being on this trip has shown me how bless we are to have a mom who has been present and interactive in our lives. You have always been there whenever we needed it! Thank you for your willingness and your time you gave us!
I cannot WAIT to get back and see you! I am so excited to go garage selling and finding amazing deals together or watching Glee together or getting caught up on what is happening on Young and the Restless or sampling going and getting lost! I miss hearing your 4 favorite CDs over and over again. I miss getting coffee with you and joking around!

I am excited for our relationship to grow! I am excited to share with you all that I have been learning. I am excited to see what God has in store for you! I know life hasn't been easy these last few years but I do know that God has never let this family go and He has great plans for us!
Thank you for never giving up on me. Thank you for always seeing me in a light that I never saw myself in. Thank you for believing in me and never telling me that my ideas are silly!
I wish I could do more to show you how much you mean to me or show you have much I appreciate you in my life!
You are a GREAT mom and amazing Grandma and a true friend! I am so lucky that God put you in my life! You are a true blessing and a beautiful person! I wouldn't be who I am today if you weren't my mom!
I love you mama! Only 12 more weeks and I will be able to give you a huge hug! Have an amazing Mother's Day and know that I wish I could be there to celebrate this special day with you!
