One of the biggest and most exciting parts about training camp is finding out who's on your team. For the first few days we do everything as a squad and the focus is more personally focused. Then, about day 4/5 the focus shifts to team building. The Lord did crazy things through this process in my life. As I mentioned in my last training camp blog, he tore down walls that I had built around my heart and allowed me to experience freedom like I never have before. Through that process I continued to ask God if He wanted more for more life in this experience, that He would have to show up. Well, He did. Doesn't He always? What an awesome God we serve.

God confirmed and reconfirmed that this is His calling in my life in numerous ways, but in one major way by entrusting me to lead and serve alongside these lovely Ladies of Light.

Jessica Brimmer
Jessica's presence radiates with life. 9 times out of 10 she has a smile on her face. She is full of enthusiasm and has an amazing servant heart. I am so excited to journey along with her and see how the Lord works in and through her this upcoming year!

Shannon is one of the first people I talked to on our squad. She has one of the biggest hearts of anyone I've ever met. Her love for the Lord is deep and intimate. She longs to serve Jesus above all things which is so evident in her everyday life. I'm thankful for Shan's tenderness and eager to journey with her and the Lord continues to draw her closer to Him.

I love this girl! She's the cutest! Maggie will be reppin' it deep with the finances for our team! She is so wise and has an amazing teachable heart. I thank Jesus for the skills that He has blessed her with and I'm eager to see what God has for her as a part of our team this year!

This is Wendy and she's from Canada..no big deal or anything ;] One of the first things I learned about Wendy was how much she hates bugs. I've never really met anyone that hates bugs as much as she does, haha. But I think that the Lord is going to rip away that hate for those poor dear creatures, mainly because bugs will probably be some of our best friends this year! But on a more serious note, Wendy is able to see reality. She's awesome about relaying what's practical and incorporating Jesus in it all. It's a beautiful thing. I'm excited to learn more about her and see her fall more and more in love with Jesus.

Rachel Martin
And last but not least we have Rachel. She longs for serenity and calmness but I think the Lord is going to challenge her to experience chaos and grow to love it this year. She has a very big heart and loves to love on people. I'm excited to see Rachel connect with women and open herself up more and more to the Father as He continues to refine her life.

This is my team! I pray that the Lord continues to draw us closer together. That we can be united and unified. That we can develop a vision that aligns to the mission that the Lord has called each of us individually to. I pray that the Lord builds up a bond between us that is not easily broken by the devil's schemes. I pray that we can be witnesses in these 11 nations across the world. I pray that we can be the carriers of light into these dark places. I pray that we can be real with each other striving towards excellence. That we can call one another up and not out. That we can see the potential in one another and continue to speak that into each other's life. I pray for life to flow from our team. That goodness will flow from this team. I pray that the Lord will speak directly to my heart about how to serve, honor, and lead these women well. I commit myself fully to this team. I pray that I can care with my heart for their deepest needs, that I can hear with my ears their deepest cries, and that I can touch their lives deeply like they've already touched mine. And most importantly, that no matter where we're going, who we're ministering to, or how inadequate we feel, that we will glorify Jesus above all. That honoring His name will be the highest priority in our lives.

Check back later this week for a blog entitled, "Jesus Speaks" on God's provision and how He's working most recently in my life.
