This month has been so different in comparison to last month not only in ministry but also in the wildlife . there are animals everywhere I look this month , there are cows , goats , horses and donkeys all over the road . The other day we got the opportunity to ride in a donkey cart which was neat !

There are also bugs that I could live without ! If you know me you know that I cannot stand bugs. Well I’m getting used to them a little. There are dung Beatles EVERYWHERE , which are huge black Beatles that carry hugs balls of poop everywhere They are so gross .

There are also pythons here , which was something I liked to pretend wasn’t real , until last night our neighbour shot one that was 2 meters long ! You would think I would feel at ease because she killed it. But the reality is that one was a baby, the mom is somewhere and she is definitely bigger than the baby .

You might be wondering were we are in Botswana that this is normal, well we are in the Okavango delta which is amazing ! We hear hippos all the time which is sooooo cool !

We are working with a ministry called Adore little children Botswana which provides food for hungry children , they feed approximately 120 Children daily Monday to Friday .
They provide clothing and shoes for the children in their programs , shoes is one of the most important things because without them children have trouble walking to the program because the ground is filled with thorns that cut your feet and the sand becomes very hot when the sun hits it which burns their feet .

They also teach the children life skills such as how to introduce themselves in English and how to count and read. Before this program started kids would attend school for the first time

The program also goes out into the community and provides aid for those who are disabled and unable to keep up with their house and their children .

This month I’ve been helping in the preschool classroom, I’ve been able to use my skills and help teach the other teachers other things they can try with the kids . I’m excited because the week I get to bring new toys into the classroom (I love decorating classrooms ) and I’m going to be hosting a workshop with some of the teachers from the program on play based learning which is exciting . Honestly I never thought I would need to use my ECE skills on the race. So this is really exciting for me !

I’ve loved getting to know the kids at the program , many are orphans and being raised by aunties or grandparents . Many of these children walk alone very far to come to the program which is sometimes a mile from their homes .

They are so happy to come play with other kids and their teachers, they get cuddles here a warm bowl of porridge ,lots of laughs and they learn so much .

I love what mama Paula and auntie Maggie are doing in this community. They are completely changing the community by bringing hope to it.

Many of the locals I’ve talked to have said their biggest need is hope , they feel stuck in the way things are. I believe we can help change that ! God has amazing plans for this place and I can’t wait to see when they all become a reality .

This is just a small amount of what we are doing this month . I’m hoping to update again soon ,Wifi is limited to usually once a week .

Please pray for financial provision , my next deadline is on Freiburg 29th I’m in need of $2000 to be able to stay on the field. I’m believing God will provide , he has continued to show me over and over again that he’s in control of this and I’m believing he has me where he wants me .

So please pray that the finances would be in when I need them .

Thank you to every one who continues to read my blogs and support me in every way possible .

I couldn’t do this without you !
