So far this month I’ve really been learning to have a great faith in God. I recently read a book talking about exercising the authority invested in us by Jesus Christ and how God is just waiting for us to take authority and He’ll do the delivering. So my team and I have been challenged by this. We’ve been bold in sharing the Gospel with people we meet on the street. We’ve proclaimed healing over the sick or hurting. And it has been awesome to see God come through and fulfill His promises. Today we even got word that a man my teammates prayed for last week received his eyesight back! Bwana Asifiwe (Praise the Lord!)

God is even showing up in small way. It’s so awesome to see how He answers our prayers when we have a great faith. This month I’ve really been trying to step out of my comfort zone and take giant leaps of faith. This new, deeper, greater faith that I have has been apparent to others. I’ve been ministering with an intern here at the church named John and he wrote this about me…

“Hi am happy and privileged this morning to express my views
towards the mission work we are doing with the world race team. It has been
exciting to meet people and share with them the love of Christ, visit young
boys and girls in schools and teach them about God and many other opportunities
to share the gospel. In these experiences I have enjoyed my company with Ashley;
she has been my workmate in the ministry. I have already given her a name woman
of faith!!!!!!!!

Many are the
instances she has operated by faith and it has worked. For example our mission’s
pastor had lost a welfare book of records, it had really stressed him but the
woman of faith gave a decree that it shall be found within a very short time. A
few hours after the decree the book was found at the furthest corner of the drawer,
note that the pastor had visited the drawer several times but he could not find
it. What a great faith! Many are the times we have also gone from house to house
sharing the gospel; given a chance the woman of faith grabs it without
hesitation. To me this is great faith bearing in mind that this is her first
time to do such mission work.

May the lord continue
to bless the woman of faith and grant her more strength and faith as she gives
herself in the service of God towards his people.”
