So, this is it. My friends. My community. My family for the next 11 months! I am so very excited to share this experience with these amazing brothers and sisters in Christ!
Meet Tiffany, our finance person. She will be responsible for our budget while we are serving. Please pray for her as her task is not an easy one ๐ Oh yeah, and she’s an awesome woman of God and I am so excited to get to know her more.
Laura, Laura, Laura. This girl is your southern sweetheart. Coming for Louisiana, she is one of the kindest people I know and will be a great life-long friend. You should read her blogs. She’s a rockstar writer. They will probably be more fun to read than mine!
This guy is pretty cool. He’s got a bit more life experience than the rest of us ๐ I am confident that we will all be able to learn so much from him. By the end of this year I think we’ll be friends.
Wow. This girl makes me laugh. A lot. Just look at this picture ๐ Amber is the team leader for the next 11 months. We are so blessed to have her leading our team and I am excited to serve God’s kingdom with her along side!
Our team, Canadian, Cassie is a constant smile. Her excitement for life and bubbly personality are contagious. Serving with her over the next 11 months is going to be nothing short of amazing. I can’t wait to see how she impacts this world and our team.
Prayer warrior. That is one of the best ways to describe JD. What an incredible faith and a passion for serving God. I know that our team will be able to learn so much from JD’s passions.
So, there you have it. Team Ants. How did we get the name? Proverbs 6:6 says, “Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise.” All day ants pick up pieces of sand, one day at a time, and move it to make their homes. This is a long and tedious process but in the end you get beautiful ant farms. As a team, we may be assigned to long and tedious projects but in the end we are planting seeds to further God’s kingdom.
