I’m not sure what I expected Malaysia to be like, but I know
that “this” is not what I had anticipated. There is so much diversity and if
you asked me what a Malaysian person looked like I wouldn’t be able to tell
you. This place is cool though and much different than last month.

This month our team will be serving in Kuala Lumpur. It’s a big city with lots of
skyscrapers. Definitely not McBain J We’ve been serving at
a local restaurant and helping prepare for the opening of a new restaurant.
It’s been super fun to attempt to be a server. I learned that I am terrible and
if I was getting paid I’d already be fired!

This weekend we got to visit some villages and lead five
church services as a team. The first service I got to give the sermon to a
bunch of children and their parents. After the service, during the altar call,
my teammate got to help lead two women in a salvation prayer. I am so blessed
and honored that God chose to use me as a vessel in bringing these women to
salvation. We got to welcome two new sisters into our family! How awesome is
that? It didn’t stop there – the next few services also were filled with
welcoming new brothers and sisters in Christ!

It still amazes me that no matter where we go in this world
we get to serve the same God. God in America
is God in Canada.
God in Canada is God in the Philippines.
God in the Philippines is
God in Malaysia.
He is so good.
