This month we’ve had the privilege of working with an
amazing man of God, Pastor Caleb. He has a church in Nyagatare,
Rwanda called Faith Center.
This church is on fire for God! My first Sunday visiting the Holy Spirit was
present like I’ve never seen before. These people are yearning after God so
much that they have fellowship services every night. That’s right…every single
night and twice on Sundays.
During the day our team goes door-to-door for a couple hours
where we get to share the Gospel with nonbelievers and encourage those that are
already our brothers and sisters. It has been so amazing to be able to share
our stories with others to urge them to follow God’s calling for their lives.
The other day a young guy named Erik approached us. He is 18
years old and has wanted to become a Christian. My teammate was able to share
the Gospel with him and he got down on his knees in the dirt and raised his
hands praying for salvation. It was beautiful. We got to pray for him. The next
night he was at church. Good stuff. This is only a story from one encounter. We
have so many other stories of God working in Africa.
It’s glorious.
We’ve also been blessed with the ability to share the
message at each church service. It has been so amazing to see how God is using
the different experiences we’ve all had in life to touch the lives of those in
attendance.
Please continue to pray for my team and I as we finish up
our last week in Rwanda.
Faith Center is having a big revival
conference and concert this week. Please pray for people to attend with open
hearts and for it to make an impact on the lives of the Rwandans. I’m excited.
I hope you are too!
Sorry there are no
pictures on these blogs…the internet is too slow. I’m going to try and post a
