This is something my squadmates and I are doing in order to get to know each other a little before we actually meet. So here it goes, 50 things about me!
- I am a big family person and I love them very much!
- My parents are the cutest couple I’ve ever seen
- And my brother is like 5 ft taller than me and graduating high school, yay!
- Just graduated college with a dual degree in Marine Science and Environmental Studies
- I love science; anything to do with the ocean and God's awesome creation
- Therefore, I am also a tree-hugger 🙂
- Recently found out I am gluten intolerant…
- Therefore, probably gonna have to kick my vegetarian diet for the race
- I am socially awkward but I can also laugh at myself
- I like to think that I’m easy to get to know but I can also be very closed off to people
- Traveling is one of my all-time favorite things to do
- I wish I could play the guitar or piano, but unfortunately I can only say I can play the flute..kinda
- My favorite candy bar is a Twix (which I can't have anymore so I gotta change this…)
- I am a hairstylist, but not really the stereotypical girly-girl one
- Wine and cheese go very well together
- Chocolate. anything.
- I am declaring war on insecurity this year.
- I love any kind of music, but my favorite band is Lifehouse
- My dog’s name is Man 😛
- Not a morning person, but I’m working on it..
- Learning is another favorite, postponing graduate school was hard…
- Even though I try, sports are not a strong area for me – I am not very coordinated
- But I still love dancing and roller blading
- Favorite color is turquoise blue, like the water in the Caribbean (fellow cruisers know what I’m talking about)
- I hate wasting time, which is shown mostly in my driving
- I also walk very fast because I’m from Chicago. It’s cold.
- I would love to learn how to speak Spanish and Italian
- My personality type is an ISFJ
- Everything by Lifehouse is my all-time favorite song
- I love Greek food! Especially saganaki
- Apparently, I am a big fan of doubting. Praying God will change this for me.
- Ironically, one of my spiritual gifts is Faith so I’m not sure how that works
- My current job involves SCUBA diving research in the FL Keys, very hard to give up
- I wish I could write slam poetry
- I’m a better baker than cook-er
- I like to try new things and be adventurous
- But I’m also accident prone…
- This past year, I have lived with 8 different girls. Love you all!
- Did I mention I’m 23?
- Pride sucks.
- I’m a planner and I like making lists
- I went on Semester at Sea last summer and it was awesome!
- I love doing research
- Simon + Hanging by a moment + Everything = pretty much my testimony in songs
- I was on my high school’s dance team for 2 years, I miss it very much
- the smell of rain is awesome
- I love Florida
- I’m going to miss it…and all my friends…and my family!
- Trusting God was and is the best thing I will ever do.
- Even though this is probably going to be the hardest year of my life in every aspect, God’s plan is always better than mine and I am so excited to be giving it all up for Him.
