Travel day, oh travel day. I am currenty sitting in a reclining chair in the Hong Kong airport, clueless as to what time it is. Did you know that the Hong Kong airport has Starbucks, a Chanel store and really nice bathrooms with perfect hair-washing sinks? Me either until tonight!
Also, on 16 hour flights across the Pacific, you can watch as much free Glee as you want and eat Cup O Noodles till you can’t eat anymore. Confession: I jacked the free blanket because it has a very nice weight and texture. Don’t tell Cathay Pacific Airlines, thanks.
I wanted to blog this moment really quick and share with you my current favorite travel song: “Moon Man,” by the Infamous Stringdusters. This Tommy Penick/Ashley Auman classic jam has easily made its way to the top of “Most Played” tunes on our Costa Rica to the Philippines adventure.
In 2 hours, we will leave Hong Kong, arrive in Manila and take a bus to the island. Happy New Years from Asia!
