It’s Thanksgiving, and I should share something I was thankful for the other day. I was walking through the jungle outside of Masatepe, Nicaragua with our team and our pastors. Manuel’s daughter, Rebecca, came up beside me, grabbed my hand and asked if we coulld listen to music. I scrolled through my playlist, and I found the one American song all Central American children know: “Baby,” Justin Bieber.
I was thankful for a walk through a beautiful jungle with a beautiful child singing Justin Bieber at the top of her lungs. That’s something you have to laugh about! Truly a Kodak moment.
