- Red and purple flowers, especially when they cover trees
- The sudden drop in my stomach when the wheels of a plane lift off the ground
- The perfectly tuned melodies of dramatic musicals
- The laughter of my nephews
- Happy dogs, craving my attention
- Kind words from strangers
- Smiles of children as they speak the name of Jesus
This is how I know He thinks of me. Everyday our amazing Father brings little gifts of joy into our lives to show us just how much He loves us. Whether its our favorite song on the radio or discovering a hidden hideout amongst the trees in your backyard, the smile in our hearts is just like a little "I love you" note from Daddy.
Just remember that as much as God loves us, He also longs for us to love Him. Take some time and delight in Him, and let Him rejoice in His creation in you. He is passionately pursuing and romancing you.
Extend to others what Christ has given us. SHINE OF HIM. Pour into others the spirit he has so generously drenched us in.
