So here I am, it's my last few days in Ukraine. I am more sad now than I have been this whole race. Ukraine has been like home to me and I am heartbroken to leave.
I will soon be heading off to Romania for my final month on the World Race. My emotions are going in about a million different directions. I am slightly terrified to see friends and family, but entirely too excited at the exact same time. Home is the new adventure that I will be embarking on, and it's a wild feeling.
So what's next? What am I going to do now that this year is over? What does God have in store for me?
These are the questions that I believe have encompassed most of our minds since we received our arrival date back home. We are yearning for guidance and longing for the answer to the next step.
Well the answer for me is Adventures in Missions' Center for Global Action (CGA).
CGA is an apprenticeship program "dedicated to holistic development through community, apprenticeship, and discipleship." I will be attending CGA in Gainesville, Georgia for eight months starting in September (just a month after returning home) where I will once again be living in community (yipee), working as an apprentice at AIM, and attending discipleship classes to further my growth and walk towards Christ.
Oh look…a video!

So here is the fun part that I know we all love so very much: support raising!!!
Seriously though, just the word "fundraising" makes me cringe. But it must be done, so let's see the numbers shall we?
So for the cost of the program, housing, and all that jazz it will be $450 a month, coming out to $3,600 for the full eight months. I will need $900 in my account by the time I arrive in September.
Let me be entirely honest here and say that I HATE asking for money, I DETEST support raising, I DESPISE support blogs. But, as I said, it must be done. And I am certain the Lord will provide in this just as He has with your support for the past year of my life. So please, prayerfully consider helping in this next step. I am nervous, I am terrified, and at the same time I am ready for the next adventure.
