Dear Supporters,
I am thrilled to announce that I am only $32 away from being fully funded and once the next monthly donations come in I will be 100% funded!! I want to thank everyone who has been a part of this process. It has been incredibly humbling to watch God provide through all of you.
I have had people ask me what they can still do once I am fully funded? Here are several options:
- Pray for me and my team. The best support we can receive is through prayer.
- Many of my squad mates and teammates are still not fully funded and they all have a deadline of $10,000 that they must hit by August 21st. On the left side of my blog are links labeled “Meet My Squad” and “Meet My Team”. If you click those you can read blogs of all the wonderful people I will be serving with and support them there.
Lastly, if you are still looking to give directly to me financially, at this point if you make a donation on my blog it will go to the Adventure in Missions general fund, not to me. This is not a bad thing at all, as they are an amazing ministry, but I want to be sure to be transparent so you are not confused as to why I am not being notified or receiving the donation.
Therefore, if you want to give to me directly feel free to contact me about it. There are still ways to help me financially such as offset the cost of my gear a little or donate spending money for within the countries, but ultimately I believe God is going to provide in all of those areas and I would love to see all of my squad mates funded first before I am given more support. God has provided in so many shocking ways already, and I believe He will continue. I felt in the beginning that $16,267 was a crazy amount to raise and then in just a few months God has showed me quickly that nothing is impossible with Him. I never thought I would be sitting here in July before Launch writing a blog about being fully funded. God has used all of you to one hundred times over confirm that this is where He has called me for the next year. Thank you so much for wanting to be a part of this journey with me. I have already seen growth in my life and I haven’t even left. I can’t imagine what the next 11 months hold.
