In my head, I’m so prepared. In reality, I’m not.

TRAINING CAMP is in THREE DAYS.

                   Time is Flyingggg!

I don’t think it has really hit me that this is really happening.

It’s really happening.

I’ve heard that training camp week is the hardest week in your life. At training camp, they are taking every possible difficult situation on the trip and putting it all in ONE WEEK.

I like to think that I am ready and prepared for what’s ahead

BUT I’M NOT.

This week is going to be so crazy good and hard and unimaginable!

I was reading a squadmate’s blog today.

“In being prepared, there is no 100%.”

Every Race is different.

I read a friend’s blog today that is in the Dominican Republic. She said that her sleeping pad broke on night one.

Every Race is different.

I found out the other day that the “route” that I am on (I use quotation marks because until it happens, everything is ‘open hands’. It is all Lord willing. He might change my route) is going to have a 36 hour bus ride from Thailand to Cambodia.

Every Race is different.

Another friend went to four out of her original 11 country ‘route’.

Every Race is different.

Every Race is different. Every person’s preparation is different. BUT God is the SAME. ALWAYS and ALWAYS. He is the SAME God to each of us with our differences. How Cool is that!? Bonus(!) He USES all of our differences to GLORIFY Himself!! Even Cooler!!

In my Race, He is going to bring Glory to Himself. No, I’m not totally prepared. No, I’m not perfect. But I know that God will glorify Himself.

Ready or not- here it comes, and God’s got this!
