Real Fast……
…. I’m running to my last day of work, BUT, I HAVE to tell everyone what God just did at Wal-Mart!!
I just blogged last night about how I needed to get glasses for the trip. How I went to Wal-Mart on the LAST day that I could’ve ordered them and gotten them in time.
Well, today I went to Wal-Mart to check on them and print some pretty important pictures lol. I went into the eye place and asked if they had the glasses. To give a timeframe, it is 9:00.
They checked… the glasses were not in.
The lady there remembered me as the girl going on the mission trip. She said that they may (or may not) come in today…
She checked the list of people’s glasses that are going to be shipped. My name was not on that list so, fingers crossed, my glasses had already shipped. We will know for sure around 1, when the shipment today gets in.
**Let me just say, that I am working till 11pm tonight. I am leaving at 10 in the morning. There isn’t a time that I could get my glasses. I would maybe have to call and ask someone to pick them up, etc. Not having a phone would just exponentially make that harder. Just an added thing to do in this time crunch that I’m in. (It’s my fault for procrastinating)**
So… I go to print off the SIX pictures that I want to get. SIX. pictures.
I went to the instant prints kiosk. Did I mention that I only had SIX that I wanted? Should be like 5 minutes.
WRONG!
(Why do I disillusion myself… I mean, it’s WAL-MART)
AN HOUR AND A HALF LATER…
…(they were really important pictures)
I finally have the pictures in hand and I’m ready to leave. Go to work.
I make my way to the front and I remember that my mom wanted some butter. Crap. I run to grab the butter and then I run to the under 20 items check out line. Surprisingly, I get through with no line! When I am checking out, I hear my name being called.
“Ashley!!”
I turn to see the woman in the eye place pointing to a box- the shipment of glasses that they just got. I was at the register RIGHT in front of the glasses place!!
“They might be in here!”
So, I finish checking out and run over to the eye place. One lady opens the box *my fingers and toes are crossed* and a minute later she confirms that THEY ARE THERE!!
Whaaaaa???!!!!!!!!!!
Sooo Good!!
I’m speechless…
…. but I have to go.
I just HAD to share!!
