This month our contacts Joel and Nicola poured so much into our lives. They have so much wisdom to impart to us about their marriage and being on the mission field for 30+ years.
Something that our contact, Joel, said to us over and over is that Jesus is a gentleman.
Meaning, God is not going to make you fall in love with Him. God is not going to make you pursue Him. It is on us. He is not going to push us to do what He wants. He is there waiting for us, we need to step towards him.
We cannot come on the Race and just expect to grow in our relationships with God because we are with other Christians. We need to take the first step. We need to choose to pursue our Father. He is standing at the door of our heart, waiting to give us more. We only need to reach out.
The first step is ours. Because “He is a gentleman.”
