I’ve got a confession….

                             …I’m a NERD!

I love movies! Comedy, Romance, Sci-Fi, Reality, Action, Musicals… If there is a good plot- i’m down to watch it!

**Disclaimer: Ashley Albert is a firm believer that horror movies are not capable of good plots. I HATE scary movies- they scare me. I don’t see the point of scaring yourself like that for no reason… but that brings into play the whole roller coaster idea (which, I Love roller coasters). So, if you want to debate or question my thought process… message me later**

According to Sydney White, we are all nerds to some point anyways.                                          Movies is just MY nerdiness :)) *by the way- if anyone has that movie, Sydney White, and would be willing to let me borrow it, I would totally love them forever! lol I’ve been wanting to watch that movie for a while…

I absolutely adore Disney/animated movies the most! I can probably sing a song (like, all the words) from any Disney movie that you name. That nerdy. Yupp, that’s me. In fact, that is a game that I play at work a lot. I’ll have my coworkers name a Disney movie and I sing a song from it- if they stump me, they win. haha, and then vice versa. I’ll sing a song to them and if they can’t name the movie, then I win. -this is what you have to look forward to squadmates!!

I just wanna say, that I watched Monsters University (once it came to the dollar theater) 5 times! By the fourth time, I was quoting most of the movie 🙂  n.e.r.d

I challenge anyone to beat me in nerdiness! Just kidding, not really. Just know that you are not the only one out there. 😉

Today, someone told me something extremely interesting. I mean, my ears perked up. My outrageous passion for movies made me want to blog about it as soon as I heard it!

This time in my life is

“like an action movie. An Indiana Jones movie, for example. We know that the hero is not going to die and we know that the outcome will be a good ending.”

A happy ending. Now, as I am writing this, I am thinking ‘what if I die?’ that would discredit the quote. Well, we are going to modify that quote for the technicality minded. We are not going to say that the hero won’t die. We are going to say that nothing with a bad, final result will happen to the protagonist.

This was being said in talking about fundraising. The final outcome WILL be God’s will. God wants me on the World Race= Ashley will get all $16,255 funding. That is that. In this analogy, Ashley is the protagonist. Yay me :)) I always wanted to be in a movie. Nothing with a bad, final result is going to happen to me. Now, to go ahead and get it out of the way, let’s talk about the obvious bad, seemingly final result. That would be to die. That will not be bad to me. I will get to immediately go and be with my SAVIOR. I’ll get to spend eternity in paradise with my Father. Another ‘bad’ result would be to not raise enough money. That just means that this timing- this September launch- is not in God’s timing. I will go at the time that He wants me to go. Either way, I win. GOD wins. And therein lies the happy ending! I just love happy endings! -just like Fauna says in Sleeping Beauty.

Right now- life is the action movie. I know what the outcome is going to be, but I’m not sure yet how God is going to bring that outcome to pass. And I know that I am going to be okay.
