As I spent time in prayer for my squad and our finances, I was reminded that it’s this journey of faith that God has called us on. And it doesn’t start when it’s January, it doesn’t start when someone’s sick and there’s a need of healing, it is HERE and it is NOW. Especially in this process of raising support, I know if I was given all the funds right from the start, yes it would be easier, but I know personally it wouldn’t have allowed me to be stretched, to be uncomfortable, to lean on God and see this deeper need for Him that I now know.
So yes it has been hard
It’s been scary at times
It’s been uncertain
But it has also been the most rewarding.
I’ve fallen more in love with Jesus with each new glimpse of His heart that is revealed to me.
With each doubt, theres a new promise He allows me to lean upon, teaching me to trust in HIM even when i cannot see.
So i continue to say yes to His ways, and not my own – knowing HE is worth it.
1 Peter 1:7-9
“These have come so that your faith – of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire – may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.”
Please consider prayerfully and financially supporting me.
