“Live a life worthy of the calling you have received… Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly-loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us…” (Ephesians 4:1, 5:1-2)

Hi!  I was born and raised in Wisconsin.  My family’s incredibly important, and I’m thankful my parents introduced me to Jesus and taught me to relentlessly pursue my passions at an early age; thanks, Mom and Dad!

I currently live in Denver, Colorado and am a student at Colorado Christian University.  In May, I’ll graduate with an English degree, and I’m thankful for my experience here.  I’ve been blessed to experience life in community.  Colorado is my second home with my second family.  I love playing in the Rockies and exploring Denver.

When I’m not writing papers and reading books, I hang out with the incredible freshman in my dorm, find new coffee shops, listen to music, journal, cook new recipes, attempt to be creative, and do yoga or run.  My favorite colors are green and teal, and recycling is important to me.  I’ve been highly interested in the issues of human trafficking and educational inequity, and I’m glad we’re spending time in countries where these problems create needs.

Thanks for reading my blog.  I’m eager to begin this
journey, and it will be more worthwhile with support from individuals
like you.  I’m an ordinary, girl with a heart to see God’s love
change others’ lives like its changed mine.  Even though I do not know
why God chooses someone like me to further his kingdom, I am thankful
to be a part of this ministry.

(This is my Res Life team.  I love each of these individuals and cannot explain how thankful I am to work with them everyday.  They love so well!)
