I was raised in the small town of Monticello in South East Arkansas. My parents Gary and Candy raised my brother Josh and me in a Christian home. We grew up spending a lot of time as a family. Some of my favorite memories are our dinner time talks. Every holiday we have special traditions that I still enjoy very much. I grew up playing sports and softball is my all time favorite. I also grew up going to all kinds of camps from sports camps to Church camps. I graduated from high school and attended UAM but never would stick to a major because I could not find anything that I truly wanted to do for the rest of my life. I am currently attending SEARK to become a Respiratory Therapist but I will now be taking a year off to serve God on this awesome journey that I am about to take.
I am an active member of my church and I work as a youth leader. I enjoy watching these young kids grow in Christ and it will be very hard leaving them. I also started a drama team at our church and I have seen God work through these dramas over the past year. Seeing God move and work has been such a blessing to me. I look forward to seeing God move like never before over the next year. My Sunday school class has been an awesome group to be apart of. We are very open and love discussing our lessons. We are a close group of friends and each one of them holds a special place in my heart. I am also apart of an awesome prayer group. We are so different in many ways but when we come together we meet and expect God to move! Being apart of this group and seeing God answer our prayers and work in our lives has been awesome. My church is my family and I am very blessed to be apart of IBC!
