It's become ALMOST comical. Please note the emphasis on ALMOST! I'll be rocking through my morning routine; Shower? Check. Deoderant? Check. Lotion? Check. And I'm finally ready to get the "fuzz" off my teeth. I go to grab my hot pink (at least the most recent victim was hot pink) toothbrush, and as soon as I touch the STILL SLIMY handle, I know. But I'm in denial, so I take one last fleeting chance and thumb the bristles.

Really, Mom?!?! This has to be the third or fourth toothbrush I've been forced to chuck in as many months. Disgusting? YES! Annoying? YES! Just another crazy life moment? YES! I may give Mom a hard time about it (I'm going to go broke buying new toothbrushes) but at the end of the day, I just have to laugh. If that's my biggest problem, I'm quite bountifully blessed. 🙂
10 Things I Am Recently Thankful For
10. Reminders of my high school graduation and all the great friends I had during those four awesome years!
9. Pizza, wings and Scrabble nights at my Grandparents' house.
8. Good, Godly friends who find time their busy schedules to just hang out.
7. Air conditioning, and forgiving Church visitors who don't grumble too much when the unit fails!
6. The joy of a haircut and how fantastic it's going to feel when I finally get one at the end of summer! (FYI, I've commited to let mine grow up until trip time and then donate right before I leave.)
5. Sunscreen and people who stress it's use. (Please stay on me about this – my back would have appreciated your intervention Saturday.)
4. Opportunities to work. From writing to painting roofs to selling ads to mowing lawn sto making videos, I have no shortage.
3. Medical advancements. I'm headed to get vaccination shots today. Pain is gain!
2. Sweet spirited Sundays! Between handshakes, hugs and solid preaching Sunday morning to hand-clapping, tear-jerking, pew-packing Gospel music Sunday night, God was definitely there!
1. Summertime! It's here and it's gonna be fantastic!
