Have I mentioned how B.A. our all girls team is lately?

Our contact, Moses, has plugged us into some amazing ministry opportunities this month. We have been able to focus a lot on women’s ministry with 3 difference churches in local villages.

Moses asked us if we were willing to dig out a couple of feet of dirt for new concrete to be poured at one of the churches. Of course we said yes.
I didn’t realize it would turn into another women’s ministry event in the community.

The whole morning we dug. At first I estimated that this task was gonna take us a while seeing that there was a lot of ground to dig and it was just us ladies. There wasn’t one man to be found. But as the morning progressed, more and more women and children showed up. As we were digging with our three short, busted shovels, and three pick axes I noticed something else, we were a team of women helping another team of women.

These women are tough. They were even digging with babies on their backs!

The kids weren’t complaining either; most of them were even using their hands to scrape up dirt to dump outside. After an hour or so we were moving quick: pick axing the foundation, digging up dirt, filling buckets, pouring dirt outside.

Soon enough, with the help of the women and children, we were done.

Another amazing day at ministry!
Pray for us to be able to share encouraging messages and testimonies with the women and widows during the week as we do women’s ministry in the village.

Love,
ASH

P.S. Remember when I said busted, I wasn’t exaggerating.
This is right after I broke one of the pick axes…whoops.
