The encouraging e-mails from my close friends
Ziplock bags and their multiple uses
Internet, even when it is slower than dial up
Malaria medicine, cold medicine and stomach medicine
Beans, especially black beans
God’s sweet little blessings that I don’t see coming
People who bring me a hot cup of tea when I am feeling sick
The hard lessons in life that push you to face your fears and thrive from them
My summer home aka my little tent.
Letting go of the spirit of comparision
All my friends and family supporting me back home (Hola Back!)
Grace from other team members and we go through life
God’s provision in the small things
My teammates and the unity we have made
Two Squad leaders who love me for who I am
