Girl power anyone?
When you think of living a life of abandonment on an epic 11 month backpacking adventure, traveling to 11 countries, the thought of doing this alongside "all girls" typically doesn't come to mind.
Truth be told, these are some of the most capable girls on our entire squad.
After days of sweating, being covered in dirt, holding children soaked in pee, not washing your hair, you lose your sense of feeling pretty on the World Race. Taking photos with them gave me a chance to remind these girls that they are completely beautiful in God’s eyes. A reminder of this year, this journey, and the lesson they learned in finding their worth. Finding their identity, the royalty inside of them.
Taking pictures of each of the girls brought me so much joy and made our chaotic life seem a little more "normal." In celebrating our time together, I am finally posting the project I started taking back in Cambodia.
It was fun to see my teammates feel girlie, put on thier best outfit, and venture out to fun locations.
It was amazing to capture their beauty, their smiles, and their uniqueness.
Enjoy.
