Okay, cheesy title, I know. But it’s so accurate.
Fundraising is hard. It’s uncomfortable and humbling and terrifying and pushing my limits big time.
I feel like I am bombarding every facet of my life with fundraising posts and ideas. I feel like an annoyance when I ask people to support me.
Recently, I spoke with a friend about my frustrations, and I was reminded of this very powerful truth: Some people are called to physically GO, some are called to enable those people, some are called to encourage and pray for those people, etc, but all are extremely important and necessary functions. One doesn’t work without the others. As Paul writes in Romans 8:
4 For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, 5 so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. 6 We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; 7 if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; 8 if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead,do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.
I’m always left in awe when I stand back and see how unique and beautiful humans are. God is so creative! Each one of us fulfill a specific function in His plan, and each is just as important as the others. LOCO!

In the picture you will see numbers 1-100. The number = the dollar amount; if you feel led, pick a number and donate that amount! For example, if you pick 10, you donate $10. You can also pick as many numbers as you would like – add ’em all up and donate that amount!
As the numbers are chosen, I will cross them off the map!
